During a morning session, experts in the field will address key issues in the current political landscape, such as the regulatory framework for safety and quality, the impact of the future Law on Medicines and Medical Devices, public procurement processes and trends in healthcare policy.
The conference, which will take place on Monday, October 6, 2025 from 9:45 am to 12:30 pm in the Clara Campoamor room of the Spanish Senate(Calle de Bailén, 3. Madrid), will be attended by the President of the Senate, Pedro Rollán; Carmen Ruiz Villar, Head of the Department of Medical Devices of the Aemps; César Hernández, Director General of the Common Portfolio of Services of the National Health System and Pharmacy of the Ministry of Health; María Blanco, Manager of Purchasing and Contracting of the ICS; and the spokespersons of the Senate Health Committee, Kilian Sánchez San Juan and Enrique Ruiz Escudero.
