The Balearic Islands Institute for Health Research (IdISBa) presents the Llavor 2026 Program, an annual plan designed to stimulate, energize and promote the scientific activity of emerging research personnel 🌱🔬.
This program promotes professional development, scientific consolidation and visibility of IdISBa research, in accordance with the Emerging Researchers Support Plan 2025-2029.
Strengthening the research career of emerging professionals.
Facilitate resources for research (material, training, conferences and platforms).
Promote scientific leadership, transfer and dissemination.
🔹 R2C – Senior Postdoctoral Researcher
💰 Ajut financer Llavor: fins a 3.000 € per a:
Small laboratory material (equipment and/or consumables)
Advanced courses / specific training
Active participation in congresses
Use of scientific-technical platforms IdISBa
⚙️ IdISBa platforms bonus: 50% (limit 2.000 €/year)
🔹 R2B – Junior Postdoctoral Researcher
💰 Financial aid: up to 1.000 € (same categories as R2C)
📌 Personal use devices (cell phones, laptops, laptops) are not allowed
⚙️ Platforms bonus: 50% (limit 1.000 €/year)
🔹 R2A – Postdoctoral <45 years old
⚙️ Platforms bonus: 50% (limit 1.000 €/year)
🎓 Access to training and support in innovation/transfer/visibility
🔹 R1B – Predoctoral researcher of research career
🎓 Suport a formació i integració IdISBa: PhD(ay), sessions, activities and scientific culture.
Priority or extra points in intramural convocations (leadership promotion)
Recommended training program (leadership, ethics, methodology, innovation and transfer, communication).
📌 It must appear as a pop-up in the corresponding profile (list inAnnex 2).
📌 1 annual grant per person and profile.
📌 Annual commitments (according to profile), such as:
Minimum attendance to IdISBa seminars/sessions (10 / 15 / 20 according to profile)
Do at least 1 training per year (R2B and R2C as a priority)
Participate in 1 institutional activity (divulgation or research community) in some of the following profiles
Participation in IdISBa seminars and dissemination of results (web and social networks).
Mentoring/follow-up and scientific positioning support (according to profile)

with the documentation according to the category (justification + budget / proforma, etc.).
⚠️ Important: the application must be made before the expense (expenses incurred before approval are not accepted).

The requirements must be fulfilled by January 1, 2027.

The Llavor 2026 Program offers financial aid and bonuses according to the research profile:
🔹 R2C – Postdoctoral Sènior Researcher
Maximum financial assistance: 3.000 € per person and year
IdISBa platform subsidy: 50% of the cost, with a maximum annual limit of 2.000 €.
🔹 R2B – Junior Postdoctoral Researcher
Maximum financial aid: 1.000 € per person and year
IdISBa platforms bonus: 50% of the cost, with a maximum annual limit of 1.000 €.
🔹 R2A – Postdoctoral Researcher (< 45 anys)
IdISBa platform subsidy: 50% of the cost, with a maximum annual limit of 1.000 €.
🔹 R1B – Predoctoral researcher of research career
Does not include direct financial assistance.
Includes training, integration activities and institutional support.
📌 General conditions:
Onlyone annual grant per person and research profile is available.
The awards are not cumulative between profiles.
The application for aid must be made prior to the disbursement.
