The objective of this line of aid is to increase the presence of science in the society of the Balearic Islands, promoting the:
Public knowledge of science
Critical spirit
Dissemination and visibility of research results
Training and competencies of research personnel in outreach
Through the financing of dissemination, educational or scientific communication activities that connect research with the public.
They can be beneficiaries:
✔️ Public R&D centers, such as:
Public universities
Recognized Public Research Organizations (PROs)
Research centers dependent on public administrations
✔️ Other public or private non-profit entities that:
Their main activity is research or the promotion of research, including scientific dissemination.
📍 D eadline for submission of applications:
Until June 15, 2026
📍 Maximum term for resolution and notification:
6 months from the date the application is submitted
Funding is provided for science outreach and social communication activities, among others:
📌 Scientific culture programs and events aimed at the general public
📌 Activities to promote scientific vocations at school ages
📌 Workshops, talks, fairs and open science exhibitions
📌 Training or support for research personnel to improve scientific communication skills
📌 Studies or actions on social perception of science.
The call provides funding for the implementation of activities, although the maximum individual amount per beneficiary; 35,000EUR.
