These grants are aimed at promoting circularity and sustainability in the tourism sector of the Balearic Islands, within the framework of the PRTR and financed with Next Generation EU funds. Projects for the reuse of resources (water, energy, waste…) in tourist establishments and environmental conservation actions related to the circular economy can be subsidized.
Program I: Insertion companies dedicated to the management and reuse of waste, registered in the Balearic Islands.
Program II:
Legal entities (public or private) that carry out circular economy or environmental conservation activities.
Owners or operators of tourist establishments (accommodation, catering, intermediation, etc.), registered in the corresponding island tourism registry.
Key conditions:
Be up to date with tax and Social Security obligations.
Not being in a situation of business crisis or having received illegal aid.
Opening of the call for proposals: May 28, 2025
Start date of eligible projects: January 1, 2025
Deadline for project implementation: March 31, 2026
Total available: 1,490,000 €.
Program I: 900,000 € (100% of the eligible cost, up to 450,000 € per project)
Program II: EUR 590,000 (80% of eligible cost, up to EUR 100,000 per project; minimum budget of EUR 50,000 per project)
Important: aid under the de minimis regime (maximum €300,000 or €750,000 depending on the program over 3 years for a single company).
