The Government of the Balearic Islands announces grants to promote energy efficiency and innovation in processes and organization in the tourism sector.
🎯 The objective is to promote a more sustainable, efficient, circular and innovative tourism, through energy improvements, digitalization, process optimization, environmental footprint reduction and solutions linked to the circular economy.
📌 The call is divided into two programs:
The aid may be requested by individuals or legal entities that operate or own tourist establishments registered in the corresponding tourism registry.
It includes, among others:
Innovative or technological non-tourism companies cannot present themselves alone, but they can participate as suppliers or collaborators of a beneficiary tourism company.
📌 Efficiency Program:
works or facilities;
equipment and materials.
📌 Innovation Program:
personnel dedicated to the project;
instruments;
contractual research, knowledge and patents;
materials, supplies and other expenses directly linked to the project.
❗ Only actions initiated after the application is submitted are eligible.
🗓️ Applications: from June 8, 2026 to September 30, 2026.
📌 The award is by non-competitive concurrence, i.e., by order of entry until credit is exhausted.
🛠️ Execution of actions: until March 31, 2028.
📄 Final justification: from April 1 to May 2, 2028.
Total credit: 5,000,000 €.
Eligible expenditure per application: between €10,000 and €300,000 excluding VAT.

In innovation, large companies are only eligible if they collaborate with SMEs that assume at least 30% of the eligible costs.
