Data Spaces Kit – Digital Transformation 2025-2026

Description

The Government launches a new call for grants under the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan (PRTR) to boost the digital transformation of strategic productive sectors through the incorporation of entities into sectoral data spaces.

Total allocation: 60 million euros

Management: Red.es (Ministry for Digital Transformation and Public Administration)

Regime: non-competitive concurrence (first come, first served)

 

Objective:

Facilitate accession, data preparation and publication of products in sectoral data spaces (health, agri-food, mobility, etc.), promoting interoperability, security and the data economy in Spain.

 

Complementary framework:

The Reference Center for Data Spaces (CRED) will guide and accompany interested entities.

In addition, the Trusted List of Data Spaces will be created, a voluntary registry that will identify reliable ecosystems eligible for these grants, reinforcing legal and technical security.

Beneficiaries

Beneficiaries:

  • Public or private entities (of any legal form) with economic activity and tax domicile in the EU.
  • Spanish Public Administrations.

They cannot participate:

  • Temporary Joint Ventures (UTEs)
  • Self-employed persons
  • Civil societies, communities of property or entities without legal personality

Basic requirements:

  • Valid Spanish NIF
  • Be up to date with tax and social security obligations.
  • At least 6 months of seniority and registration in the census of entrepreneurs/professionals.
  • Compliance with de minimis aid limits (max. 200,000 € in three fiscal years).
Dates and deadlines

Application deadline: 03.11.2025 – 31.03.2026, or until funds are exhausted.

Budget

Maximum aid amounts:

  • Private or public entities with economic activity:
    • Up to €15,000 (participants)
    • Up to €30,000 (suppliers)
  • Public Administrations:
    • Up to €25,000 (participants)
    • Up to €50,000 (suppliers)
