Desafía Biotechnology Boston Immersion Program 2026 | ICEX

ICEX España Exportación e Inversiones is organizing a new edition of the program Desafía Biotecnología Boston 2026, an immersion initiative aimed at companies and startups in the biotechnology sector interested in learning about the innovation, investment and business development ecosystem in Boston, one of the world’s leading hubs in biotechnology and life sciences.

The program offers participating companies the opportunity to deepen their understanding of the U.S. market, connect with key players in the biotech ecosystem and strengthen their strategy for accessing the United States.

The planned contents and activities include:

executive training specialized in the biotech sector and the U.S. market;
knowledge of the American healthcare system, regulation of the healthcare industry and legal framework for the establishment of a biotech in the USA;
financing strategies and access to investment;
introduction to the health knowledge, investment and innovation ecosystems in the United States, Boston and the state of Massachusetts;
networking with representatives of the biotech ecosystem, investors and venture capital;
visits to incubators, hospitals, corporations, pharmaceutical companies and health innovation centers;
individualized mentoring to support the U.S. market access strategy;
demo day with pitching in front of investors, mentors and experts from the biotech sector in Boston;
access to the global community Challenge and connection to international technology hubs.

The program is aimed at companies and startups in the biotechnology sector interested in developing or strengthening their internationalization strategy, access to the U.S. market, seeking investment or connecting with the Boston biotech ecosystem.

Companies that are looking for a company that is looking for:

validate its entry strategy in the United States;
to understand the U.S. healthcare, regulatory and investment ecosystem;
establish contacts with investors, experts, mentors and potential partners;
explore opportunities for collaboration with agents in the biotech and health sector;
strengthen its international positioning.
