📢 Industrial Doctorate Grants 2025

🎓The State Research Agency (AEI) opens the call for grants for contracts for the training of doctors in companies and other entities, within the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027 🔬.

🎯 Objective:

To promote the training of research personnel in business environments, through industrial research or experimental development projects associated with the completion of a doctoral thesis. The aim is to promote labor insertion, knowledge transfer and competitiveness of the productive fabric.

🏛️ Financing: Subsidy – competitive bidding system

👥 Beneficiaries:

Companies (including spin-offs and Young Innovative Companies).
Private non-profit entities.

Public administrations without R&D&I as their main activity.

(All with tax residence or permanent establishment in Spain and contracting capacity).

🔬 Project conditions:

- Duration: 4 years.
- The project may be executed in-house or in collaboration with another entity (public or private).
- At least one industrial research or experimental development project aimed at knowledge transfer.

🗓️ Application deadline: January 13 – February 17, 2026 (up to 2:00 p.m., Spanish time)

Totalbudget: 8,000,000 €.

💶 Relief amounts:

Hiring of research personnel: up to 32,900 €/year (4 years).
- Minimum salary: 24,400 €/year.
Training mobility: one-time grant of €5,500 per person hired.
Other implementation costs: up to €40,000 per project.
Doctoral tuition: one-time grant of €1,500 (100% intensity).
359,000 is reserved for hiring people with disabilities (≥33%).
