Juan de la Cierva 2025 Contract Grants

Call for the State Human Resources Program within the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2024-2027, aimed at promoting the incorporation of young doctors in Spanish R&D centers.

Duration: 3 years

Regime: Competitive concurrence

Main requirements:

To have obtained a doctoral degree between January 1, 2024 and December 31, 2025 (general and JDC-INIA-CCAA).
For disability shift ≥33%, between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2025.
Applications must be submitted by Spanish R&D centers, including the candidates in their research teams.

Beneficiaries:

Public and private research organizations, universities, technology centers, non-profit health entities, and technological innovation support centers.

Researcher application deadline: November 25 to December 10, 2025 (2:00 p.m.)

Application deadline for entities: November 25 to December 17, 2025 (2:00 p.m.)

Financing:

Up to €35,000 per year per contract (3 years) to co-finance salary and social security.
An additional €15,000 per person hired for research expenses.
500 planned grants, of which 9 are reserved for people with disabilities ≥33% and 9 for the JDC-INIA-CCAA shift.
Total budget: 60 M€ (European Social Fund Plus).
