RedIA Call for Proposals – Health

Purpose of the aid:

Grants for experimental development projects that drive the adoption of artificial intelligence (AI) in the health field, through its application in real data environments.

Within the framework of the ERDF Program 2021-2027

National companies that develop projects based on artificial intelligence in the field of health.

Eligible projects:

AI-based solutions that respond to use cases in care processes (prediction, prevention, diagnosis, treatment, care or follow-up), clinical, biomedical or pharmacological research, health systems management or health emergencies.
The projects should include experimentation and validation in real environments, allowing to test the impact of the developed prototype.
The necessary agents (hospitals, research centers, universities, technology companies, patient associations, etc.) should be involved.
Intensive use of Machine Learning, Deep Learning or Generative AI technologies, among others.

Important: Each entity may submit as many different projects as it wishes, as long as they meet the requirements of the call for proposals.

Deadline for submission: November 3, 2025 – January 5, 2026 (11:59 p.m.)

Maximum duration of projects: 24 months from the date of the awarding decision

Aid modality and intensity

Non-repayable grant.
Grant per project: between 400,000 € and 5,000,000 € (project budget may be higher).
Aid intensity: between 25% and 60% of the budget:
- Large companies: up to 25
- Medium: up to 35
- Small: up to 45
- +15 additional points if results are disseminated or developed in an assisted region (maximum 60 %)
Advance payment: up to 40 % of the aid granted (with guarantee)
