Turboconvo 2026 – Grants aimed at improving innovation capacity and digitalization of SMEs, creation of AEIs, acceleration and open innovation, organization of events and investment in innovation.

Description

Call of the Government of the Balearic Islands to finance actions to strengthen the competitiveness and innovative capacity of SMEs and entities of the Balearic ecosystem of innovation.

These grants seek to strengthen the innovation network of the Balearic Islands through high-impact projects, inter-enterprise cooperation and adoption of advanced digital technologies.

Eligible programs (+ info see Annex 1 of the call for proposals):

a. Program I – Improving the innovation capacity of SMEs (by Order of Entry: OE)

  • Line 1.1: Certification of R&D&I projects.
  • Line 1.2: Innovation support services.

b. Program II – Creation of Innovative Business Clusters (AEI) (Competitive Concurrence: CC)

  • Line 2.1: Creation of innovative business clusters (AEI).

c. Program III – Digitalization for SMEs (OE)

  • Line 3.1: Digitalization in business management and digital marketing.

d. Program IV – Acceleration and Open Innovation

  • Line 4.1: SMEs with disruptive initiatives. (CC)
  • Line 4.2: Support services for SMEs specialized in immersive environments. (OE)

e. Program V – Organization of events related to innovation

  • Line 5.1: Organization of events. (OE)

f. Program VI – Investment in Innovation

  • Line 6.1: Innovation projects. (CC)

Important:

  • The application must be submitted prior to the commencement of activities.
  • Incompatible with other public aid that finances the same expense or purpose.
  • The DNSH principle applies.
Beneficiaries

Applicant’s requirements

☑️ SMEs and companies with registered office or work center in the Balearic Islands
☑️ Companies developing business innovation projects
☑️ Entities that meet the requirements established in the call for proposals

Project requirements

  • The actions must be developed in the Balearic Islands.
  • Compliance with environmental, equality and sustainability principles.
  • Maximum duration according to each program, within the 2025-2027 framework.
  • Compatible with multi-annual projects, with execution within the ERDF eligibility period 2021-2027.
Dates and deadlines

Submission of applications: March 16 – April 17, 2026

📍 100% telematic processing through the Government’s electronic headquarters.

Budget

Maximum aid per application: variable according to program/line.

 

Advance payment: Possibility of requesting an advance payment of up to 50% of the amount granted, without additional guarantees for SMEs and non-profit entities.
