On March 14 at the Arxiu del Regne de Mallorca, will be held a conference on regulation of artificial intelligence organized by the Bit Foundation in collaboration with Europe Direct and the Europe Enterprise Network.<\/p>\n\n

The day will include a presentation by Dr. Ignasi Belda, Director General of the Spanish Agency for the Supervision of Artificial Intelligence (AESIA);<\/strong> followed by a debate open to the public.<\/p>\n\n

The main objectives of the conference are to explain the regulatory framework governing the development, use and supervision of AI systems in the European Union and to analyze the role and functions of AESIA in the regulation of AI, and in the implementation and supervision of compliance with the Artificial Intelligence Regulation (RIA).<\/p>\n\n

The conference, open to both companies and organizations, as well as ICT professionals and legal specialists, will explore the mechanisms of supervision and sanction and explain how AESIA carries out inspection, verification and sanction to ensure the correct application of regulations in public and private entities.<\/p>\n\n

With the participation of Dr. Ignasi Belda, head of the main regulatory body in AI in our country, this conference is a unique opportunity to learn first hand the mechanisms that will shape the use of this key technology, and actively participate in the open debate on its future development.<\/p>\n\n

The event, which will be conducted by Lloren\u00e7 Valverde; Director of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute at the University of the Balearic Islands, will be attended by institutional representatives of the Ministry of Economy, Finance and Innovation, the Bit Foundation and the Balearic Islands Foundation for External Action.<\/p>\n\n
