{"id":7101,"date":"2021-07-19T11:26:00","date_gmt":"2021-07-19T09:26:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bioib.org\/uncategorized\/transregional-initiative-for-water-management-in-agriculture-and-agrifoods\/"},"modified":"2024-11-14T14:24:50","modified_gmt":"2024-11-14T13:24:50","slug":"transregional-initiative-for-water-management-in-agriculture-and-agrifoods","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bioib.org\/en\/news\/transregional-initiative-for-water-management-in-agriculture-and-agrifoods\/","title":{"rendered":"Transregional initiative for water management in agriculture and agrifoods"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On July 15, the webinar &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.agrisudouest.com\/agro-aigua\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Iniciativa transregional para la gesti&#xF3;n del agua en la agricultura y la agroalimentaci&#xF3;n (se abre en una nueva pesta&#xF1;a)\">Transregional initiative for water management in agriculture and agri-food<\/a>&#8221; was held within the framework of the Agro&amp;Aigua project financed by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.euroregio.eu\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Eurorregi&#xF3;n Pirineos Mediterr&#xE1;neo (se abre en una nueva pesta&#xF1;a)\">Euroregion Pyrenees-Mediterranean <\/a>(EPM), with more than 80 participants.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Xavier Bernard Sanz, director of the EPM welcomed the participants and presented the new roadmap of the Euroregion and the projects in which the Euroregion participates. Then the clusters leading the project, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.agrisudouest.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Agri Sur-Ouest Innovation (se abre en una nueva pesta&#xF1;a)\">Agri Sur-Ouest Innovation<\/a> (Occitania), the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cwp.cat\/es\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"Catalan Water Partnership (se abre en una nueva pesta&#xF1;a)\">Catalan Water Partnership<\/a> (Catalonia), and the BioIB, were presented. <\/p>\n\n<p>This was followed by\nseveral presentations by entities operating in the agri-food and technology sector\n. Among them, we highlight the participation of\nJos\u00e9 Escalona from INAGEA, who presented the &#8220;Efficient use of water in agriculture\n.
