On Wednesday May 31, 2023 took place at the Auditorium of Parc Bit the BIOIB Investment Day and Competition Pitch with IKI Health, Nanodecal and Todo Biomedical Consulting Group as finalists.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n

The day began with the institutional welcome by Mr. Omar Beidas, Head of the Innovation Service of the Government of the Islands, and then, Mr. Ricardo Garcia, CEO of the company Oncoheroes Biosciences shared with the participants an inspiring talk about his experience as an entrepreneur in the Boston ecosystem. <\/p>\n\n

This was followed by the Pitch competition which was marked by the high quality of the participating start-ups: ‘IKI Health Group; represented by Dr. Patricia Puiggr\u00f2s Hern\u00e1ndez, Nanodecal represented by Roberto de la Rica and TODO Biomedical Consulting represented by Mr. mrei Ewers. <\/p>\n\n

The jury was composed of Mr. Omar Beidas Soler, Head of the Innovation Service of the Government of the Balearic Islands, Mr. Pep Llu\u00eds Pons Hinojosa, General Director of University Policy and Research of the Government of the Balearic Islands. Balearic Islands and Mr. Pau Gimeno Mata, Executive Vice President of Richi Childhood Cancer Foundation. <\/p>\n\n

Finally, the company Nanodecal was proclaimed winner of the Pitch competition and through the award will participate in the Richi Entrepreneurs 2023 edition of the program, which will help them open their doors in the life sciences ecosystem of # Boston.<\/p>\n\n

The event concluded with an excellent semi-virtual round table of investors with Sabela Rinc\u00f3n from Starla Capital, SR. Lech Ignatowicz, Nordic Science Capital, Mr. Toni Grunwald, Max Ventures and Ms. Zara Pons, manager of BIOIB as moderator. During the table they talked about common mistakes and advantages of working with #deeptech and #lifeScience startups, the need for #coinvestments across Europe to make our markets more attractive and finally the rise of SalutDigital, health data sharing challenges and date-based startups. <\/p>\n\n
